The core of Soroptimist values is service to improve the lives of women and girls.  SI Maui also awards variety of service related awards and scholarships yearly.  DIBI participants may also use their volunteer experience towards qualifying for such awards as the Violet Richardson and Jr. Youth Citizenship awards!  SI Maui ultimately hopes to provide DIBI participants the opportunity to view themselves as powerful change agents in the world through community connection.

VOLUNTEER DATES AND TIMES

\\VOLUNTEER SERVICE:

  • Each workshop participant will also be given opportunities to volunteer with  Soroptimist International of Maui club members in a variety of settings.  Each participant is invited to attend at least one volunteer event.

    • Food kitchen: Week day dinner service

    • Creating a box garden for a local shelter: November 11, 2016 [Veteran's Day]

    • Bingo for senior citizens:  November 12, 2016 - 11 AM
